Alexandra Foster is the gregarious character behind the youth clothing label A.C.F. Her Great Aunt was King Farouk of Egypt’s dressmaker, so you could say fashion is in her blood and fire is in her belly. Unafraid as she packed up her life in Australia and flew over the Pacific Ocean to Hong Kong to set up her first fashion business as a budding Entrepreneur.
Growing up nurtured by her Grandmother, a highly skilled dressmaker, Alexandra always knew she wanted to create beautiful yet practical garments, spending weekends and holidays at the sewing machine and sketching designs in her notebook the passion grew rapidly. After landing her first job in fashion upon finishing high school, Alexandra quickly realized she was has what it takes to master each roll a small fashion label has to offer and fearlessly set upon making the dream of having her own fashion label a reality. With the guidance of her father, a successful entrepreneur in his own right, the business plan of A.C.F was born out of the question “Where is the gap in the marker?” The answer was obvious, refined streetwear for the younger generation.
Alexandra’s personal unique styling channels the Aquarian that she is; rebellious within fashion ‘rules’ and intuitive with colour palettes. Pursuing her vision and design aesthetic, A.C.F Clothing represents the modern youth, one who has a strong sense of self and is unafraid to try something new. Contrasting textures and colours are a favourite theme, gaining inspiration from landscapes, vintage fashion posters and art.
