How and when did you get started in health and fitness?

I saw girls posting before and after pictures on Instagram, they’d go from having a belly to getting really fit fast, so I thought I would give it a try!

What mistakes did you used to make when you first began?

I became obsessed with trying to attain visible results within an unrealistic time period which led to the progression of my eating disorder bulimia, I also worked out way too much in the beginning.

What is your diet like?

I eat relatively healthy Monday to Friday as my lovely parents cook for me, cheat meals are reserved for the weekends. I practice healthy intuitive eating so I don’t count calories or macros.

What is your typical workout routine?

I do crossfit 4-5 times a week.

Which are your top 3 exercises and why?

I like sit ups, glute bridge and deadlift. I like to work on getting abs and booty, those are my target areas.

How do you keep motivated?

I am not really motivated. People always ask me this but I think the key to having a sustainable fitness journey is to make it part of your daily habit. For me going to workout is just like going to work, checking my emails, brushing my teeth, it’s just a part of my life. It’s not realistic for everyone to feel motivated everyday or to dedicate substantial amounts of time to working out, it’s always worth remembering life is so much more than just fitness.

What is your favorite healthy meal?

Not exactly super healthy but grilled steak with guacamole and veggies on the side.

What is your favorite cheat meal?

Too many! anything with melted cheese, hot pot, dipping ramen, tacos, sushi, BBQ etc etc.

What are the most important tips you would give to our readers to achieve their fitness goals?

Start with small steps and be patient, give your body the time it needs to transform and improve. The most important thing is to make your fitness routine a part of your daily habit, find workouts / exercises that you would enjoy. If you hate it, it’s not working for you, try something else. There’s a period that I didn’t wanna do my usual workouts so I went to learn pole dancing and it kept me in shape and made me stronger.
